[百赤虎] NIPOALOHA オリジナル。
1950年代に生まれたこの図案は、全身に虎が配されたその迫力のデザインから通称《百虎》と呼ばれ、数ある和柄のVINTAGE ALOHA SHIRTの中でも最高傑作のひとつとされています。
そしてNIPOALOHA オリジナルの [百虎]として、新しく描き起こした百虎は、VINTAGEの猛々しさそのままに、顔の表情、抜け感のある配置、配色にこだわり、スタイリッシュに着用できる百虎を目指しました。
染色につきましては、「十日町友禅」と呼ばれる染め技術を持つ、全国屈指の着物総合産地である新潟県十日町市の染工場にて、染色いただいております。
NIPOALOHAオリジナルのシルクキュプラ着物地は、日本伝統の紋様「地紋 松皮菱 花菱」のジャガード織り柄入り。
高級感漂うハリコシのある生地は、優しい光沢を放ち、光に当たると、織柄が浮かび上がります。
身頃はボックスタイプのトラディショナルなデザイン。
アームホール、カフス付け位置にギャザーを入れることにより、ドレッシーであり、リラックスできるデザイン。

This is a silk-cupro aloha shirt from NIPOALOHA.
[Hundred Red Tigers] NIPOALOHA Original.
Created in the 1950s, this design—featuring tigers covering the entire shirt—is commonly known as “Hundred Tigers” due to its powerful aesthetic. It is considered one of the greatest masterpieces among the many vintage aloha shirts featuring traditional Japanese patterns.
As a NIPOALOHA original [Hundred Tigers] design, we have reimagined the pattern to retain the fierce spirit of the vintage original while paying meticulous attention to the facial expressions, the open, airy arrangement, and the color palette, aiming to create a stylish version of the Hundred Tigers that can be worn with confidence.
The dyeing is performed at a dyeing factory in Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture—one of Japan’s leading comprehensive kimono production centers—using the dyeing technique known as “Tokamachi Yuzen.”
NIPOALOHA’s original silk-cupro kimono fabric features a jacquard weave pattern of traditional Japanese motifs: “Jimon,” “Matsubari,” “Hana-bari.”
This luxurious, crisp fabric exudes a gentle sheen, and when hit by light, the woven patterns come to life.
The body features a traditional boxy silhouette.
Gathers at the armholes and cuffs create a design that is both dressy and comfortable.
