また、椿は高貴、神聖という意味を持ち、冬になっても葉が落ちない椿は、古くから魔除けの力を持つ紋様とされてきました。
故に「虎椿」の紋様は、非常に縁起の良い紋様となります。
京都の着物文化によって育まれてきた美意識や技術を背景にデザインからテキスタイル・服飾雑貨の製作まで幅広い分野のものづくりを提案している「千總友仙工場」により染色。

Since ancient times, the tiger has been regarded as a symbol of royalty, and when depicted on a kimono, it represents a pattern expressing a wish for great success.
Additionally, the camellia symbolizes nobility and sacredness. Because camellias retain their leaves even in winter, they have long been considered a pattern with the power to ward off evil spirits.
Therefore, the “Tiger Camellia” pattern is considered to be extremely auspicious.
Dyed by “Senzō Yūsen Kōjō,” a workshop that draws on the aesthetic sensibilities and techniques nurtured by Kyoto’s kimono culture to offer a wide range of creations, from design to the production of textiles and fashion accessories.
Featuring a jacquard weave pattern of the traditional Japanese motif “Jimon Tachiyuki ni Kiku” (Chrysanthemums on a Tachiyuki Ground) on NIPOALOHA’s original silk kimono fabric.
